Brianna Rogers, Candidate for Vallejo Council District 4
Vallejo is my home. I’m a proud first-time homeowner here, and I’m deeply invested in our future. I’m running for City Council because Vallejo deserves bold leadership. I’m ready to bring my experience, relationships, and leadership home—to serve the community that I live in and love.
I’m a mother, systems changer, and community leader running to bring bold, accountable leadership to District 4 because our city can’t afford more of the same.
I know what it means to navigate systems that don’t work—because I’ve lived it. And I’ve built my career making those systems work better for our communities. I’ve moved resources, shifted power, and pushed institutions to be accountable to the people they serve.
I studied rhetoric at University of California, Berkeley and earned my Master’s in Policy Management from Georgetown University—giving me the tools to turn bold vision into real results.
I previously served on the Berkeley City Planning Commission and the Children Youth and Recreation Commission, helping shape policy and community investments at the local level.
Today, I serve as a board of director for The Solano Community Foundation and (EOYDC) East Oakland Youth Development Center. I also proudly help lead the efforts of (GCC) Greater Communities Collaborative of Solano County to bring critical funding into Vallejo, and I serve as Community Engagement and Outreach Chair for the (BWOPA) Black Women Organized for Political Action Napa/Solano Chapter.
I bring a seasoned regional lens and deep relationships across sectors—connecting Vallejo to the funding, partnerships, and conversations we need to move forward. I don’t just understand systems—I know how to navigate them to deliver results for our community.
I don’t just talk about change—I deliver it.
District 4 deserves leadership that solves problems, not manages decline. Leadership that listens, acts, and is accountable to the people—not politics.
This is our moment. Will you join us?
